Moto ROKR Z6 – My new cell phone.

Last week I upgraded my mobile handset from Nokia 3220 to Moto ROKR Z6. The old 3220 had been flawlessly serving me for more than two and a half years; however, it’s almost worn out now. The major issues were, like, wrong keystroke detection, low battery life, and a broken case. Apart from these, it was a perfect phone.

Coming to the new one, the key parameters I was looking for were camera, style, multimedia, and obviously, price. Reading through online reviews and references from friends, I had short listed some of the models out in the market, namely, Nokia N70 ME, Sony Ericsson W810i, Samsung Metal Series and a couple of LG phones. What I felt about ‘em were N70 ME – bulky; W810i – a bit outdated; metal series – expensive; and LG phones were not available in the shops where I had searched. So finally, I opted for Z6 which had all the features I was looking for, a 2MP camera, good mp3 player, and a sleek look, all with an affordable price of Rs. 11000.

Albeit it’s a brilliant phone, it has a notable draw back of low battery life! It lasts for hardly a day if you generously use the multimedia features.

A small review of MOTOROKR Z6. Please leave your say here about the phone.

hey thats cool man…good choice man..
i have heard one flaw in almost all of the motorolas ..battery problem …hope rokr is not having any such problem..
oncve again congratz…

thanks man…

since it has just been a couple of weeks, i couldn’t comment on it. let’s hope this phone won’t have that issue :)

anyway, the battery life is less compared to my older 3220, but yea, that’s common for most of the multimedia phones…

Hey
even i have got rokr z6.
Plz tell me if u find any of its themes somewhere
it would b nice if u email me
thanks

hi

also just got the z 6 – love it but cant find how to set message to vibrate and call to ring – not possible ?

and yes battery life is short – solution keep changing or use a car kit maybe

but love it

rob

rob, even i don’t have a clue on that…seems like it’s not possible…

I`ve had the ROKR Z6 for quite a while now. With normal usage battery life seems ok.

What completely freaks me out is the warning signal for Low Battery! I can not turn it of and even in vibration mode it vibrates every 2 minutes… Does anybody have an idea how to get rid of it??

Cheers, Jules

hey….whats irritating is dat virtually no themes r supported by Z6…

can you send me some of your product for africa market/?

Machu u shud check whether your blue tooth is on.. it might end your battery life soon.
